It’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling right now. Not ten minutes ago, we left Colegio Moriah and San Pedro. We collected all our laundry and last minute packing. We ate our last meal with the team. Then we gathered in the dining area, and the pastor and his wife thanked us for the service we gave. We prayed for them and the community. Saying goodbye to the people of Colegio Moriah was like saying thank you. This community has done more for me than I have and the team has for it. It opened my eyes to the global church, that we are all God’s children, His servants, His students. The pastor and his wife have turned this community around and God has orchestrated it all. His love and faithfulness is so evident. He has embraced this community and given it new life. It’s amazing what God can do with a vision. He takes our loaves and fish and feeds the masses. The young men are an extreme testament to God’s faithfulness and glory. They’ll do incredible things, I know it. They’ve come from hard places, but they don’t let their circumstances stop the big dreams they have. Some want to be doctors, some want to be engineers, and others just want to go to school. God’s going to wonderful things through them and every student, teacher, and person that passes through those walls. To God be all the glory and honor!
